What To Take



  • Important note


    When packing please ensure your luggage does not exceed 15kgs. Try and only limit your luggage to one suitcase or rucksack. This is because some members of staff may need to fly and many airlines will charge you extortionate prices for exceeding the limit!!

  • Passport

    Copies of all contractual literature we have sent you

    International Debit card or Credit Card

    Clothes you do not mind working in or getting dirty

    Clothes for days and nights off

    Sleeping bag and pillowcase

  • Waterproof / sturdy shoes or boots in addition to shoes and trainers

  • Waterproof Jacket and Trousers

  • Towels

  • Toiletries / medical supplies / sun protection (please note that these can also be purchased overseas)

For all Warehouse Staff the above applies. In addition we will also provide steel toecapped boots, although we would encourage you to bring an existing pair if possible.

Please ensure that you have access to sufficient funds for the first three weeks as it may take 2-3 weeks before your first pay is in your account. We advise that you will need £100 - £150 in euros in order to cover your cost of living, including food and personal items.

For all staff employed in a driving role and people over 21 who wish to drive Company vehicles please ensure you take your driving licence with you.

We also recommend you do the following:

  • Check someone at home can access and make changes to your bank account

  • Make photocopies of your passport and driving license to leave at home. We suggest you also bring photocopies overseas, packing them separately to the originals, so that you have copies available in the event of requiring replacements.

  • Take slippers or flip-flops for use on montage or demontage when staff are housed in mobile homes, as outdoor footwear can cause damage to the accommodation.

  • If you have developed any medical conditions since receiving your offer of employment or have experienced any changes to previous conditions please inform us by ringing 01606 787522. Please note that undeclared medical conditions can in validate your insurance.

    Once you get to your site and settle in, consider what personal items you need to buy, groceries and a phone card to call home.

  • Ensure that you inform family or friends of your arrival, and give your contact details as we are unable to disclose these to telephone enquirers due to the Data Protection Act.

  • Make sure you have contact details for those people you may want to contact in the case of an emergency.

  • We recommend that you take suitable refreshments whist traveling as you may arrive late. Please note for those attending a training course that due to the arrival time at our Training Venue, dinner is not provided when you arrive.

  • Leave all valuable items at home, just take the essentials.
