Mini Swimming Courier

The role

You will provide a first class programme of swimming lessons to all customers with children aged 1-5 years, offering effective, fun and safe lessons, adapted to each individual customer group. You will also inspire confidence in both the parents and the children with an ultimate aim of helping the children become more confident in the water. The Swimming Teacher also fulfils a Mini Fun Station Courier role.

You will need to have previous experience of working with 1-5 year olds, be very independent (as you will be required to have sole responsibility for the sessions) and able to lead sessions and deal with parents, who are in attendance at all times.

You will be required to work from the 10th of May until the 10th of July.

If you wish to you can also stay on after this time and become a Children's Courier.

Duties

To provide 2 half-hour swimming lessons per day for both Starfish (12 months - 2 years) and Stanley (2 - 5 years) age-groups.

To liaise with the Parc Owner regarding pool availability and usage.

To complete all necessary health and safety and risk assessment paperwork prior to the service starting.

To follow the correct programme structure provided by the STA.

To ensure that acceptable technical standards of the STA programme are maintained during sessions and that the equipment used is safe and lesson plans are suited to each individual customer group.

To create sessions that are both creative and innovative.

To ensure all courier teams are fully briefed about the service so they can inform customers about the service as and when required.

To explain to new customers how the programme works and what happens in the session.

To operate an effective booking system, ensuring attendance is maximised.

To hand out certificates and badges for achievement.
