Courier Team Leader
If you have previous experience of leading a team or can show us that you have the necessary skills - we have a great opportunity for you. There are a variety of Team Leader roles available, dependant on team size these are Courier in Charge and Senior Courier.
You must be able to manage and motivate a team ensuring that they deliver first class customer service. Part of your role will include organising the daily workload of your Courier team. It is also important that you lead by eample so you will partake in all aspects of the Courier duties as well as general administration and accounts.
Duties
To be actively involved in all aspects of montage / demontage taking a lead role when required.
To be responsible for the setting-up of the campsite to company standards as laid down in the overseas manuals, to ensure that the campsite is ready for opening on time.
To manage the on-site team including:

Assess and monitor individual performance of Couriers and Children’s Couriers

Appraise, train and develop staff.

Allocate workload to ensure resources are fully utilised.

Ensure staff meet company standards in all areas of the role, and deliver a high level of customer care.

Support and guide staff in completion of any work based learning programmes.
To ensure that a high standard of customer service is provided, to advise and assist Couriers / Children’s Couriers in dealing with customer complaints.
To ensure that administration is completed on time and accurately.
To ensure that any shortfalls in safety standards are communicated as shown in the Health and Safety guidelines.
To communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, suppliers, resort office and senior staff.
To ensure safe keeping of company monies. To submit accurate accounts paperwork.
To be fully aware of information contained in the Overseas Manuals and to ensure that company policies and standards are maintained.
Some aspects of the Couriers role also apply.
To carry out any other duties as required by the Overseas Manager.

• You should be available to work uninterrupted for a full season (March / April to mid September)
• You should have lots of energy, basic common sense and a genuine desire to help people.
• A good working knowledge of the English language
• Basic numeracy
• Previous work experience
