Children's Courier
If you relate well to children, this is the ideal job for you as you will be responsible for planning and delivering a fun, safe daily activity programme to our customers’ children.
The ages of the children attending the club will range from 4 to 12 years old, although on larger sites the children are split into specific age groups.
You will need to have previous experience of working with groups of children, and organising activities for them.
You will also need to have experience of working within a team and basic knowledge of safety procedures and assessments. You will also need to have the ability to deal with customers and parents with confidence.
A day in the life of a Children's Courier
Duties
To plan, prepare and delivery four and a half hours of quality, fun activity sessions for six days a week.
To ensure that activities are varied, fun and entertaining, all relevant nationalities are accommodated and children are gaining a safe positive experience.
To exercise care and safe practices when offering these services.
To successfully promote the service to our customers, including visiting newly arrived customers and children to introduce yourself and the service.
To ensure the safe and correct use of campsite facilities and equipment during activities.
To ensure the highest possible safety standards are maintained at all times and that priority is given to awareness of safety policies within Holidaybreak. To contribute to children’s health and well being.
To ensure a clean, tidy and appealing play tent and surrounding area
To ensure the club notice board is completed / well displayed and that information shown is precise and regularly updated.
To establish and maintain relationships with children of all nationalities.To communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, campsite management, and senior staff.To handle complaints and resolve problems.
To submit neat and accurate reports and paperwork to a Senior Staff member as required.
To provide a baby-sitting service.
To encourage, care and maintain discipline of the children.
To take part in montage / demontage where required.
To remain flexible at all times with regards to duties and working hours.
