Base Children's Courier
The Role
If you relate well to teenagers, this is the ideal role for you as you will be responsible for planning and delivering a daily programme of events for our customers teenagers.
The age will range from 13-17 years. Base is a cool place for them to hang out, and if they feel like it, join in with some of our activities. Some examples of the type of activities we run includes:
- Beach games
- Pizza Evenings
- Table tennis
- Beach Parties
- Paintballing
- Karting
- And so much more.....
Base is our only Children's Courier service where you are permitted to take them off-parc. (Subject to parental consent)
You will have previous experience of working and relating to teenagers, a genuine empathy for this age range and an ability to relate to them.
You will be required to work from Mid June until Mid September.
Duties
To plan, prepare and deliver general activity sessions suitable for teenagers.
To research and investigate off site venues and suppliers for activities, ensuring that they adhere to the specified health and safety guidelines.
To plan a weekly programme of events to the guidelines provided.
To ensure that the facilities and equipment are available to operate the planned activities.
To successfully promote the Base service to our customers, including visiting newly arrived parents and teenagers to introduce yourself and the service with a view to maximising attendance.
To exercise care and safe practice when offering these services.
To evaluate the success of the activities and to research new activities to meet the teenagers requirements.
To manage a weekly budget, completing the accounts paperwork accurately and on time.
To submit neat and accurate reports and paperwork to a Senior Staff Member as required.
To act as a point of contact for other campsite organised events.
To assist with Fun Station sessions as and when required.
To remain flexible at all times with regards to duties and working hours.
