Area Assistant

You will assist the Regional Manager with a number of tasks to enable them to provide the highest standard of product delivery within the area. You will have responsibility for a company vehicle to transport staff within in your region for example to collect or drop couriers at the airport, port or train station, take couriers shopping and gather local information.

Duties will include basic administration such as data entry of Health & Safety reports, and filing. You will also be required to liaise with other departments overseas and at head office as well as carry out courier duties when required.

As an Area Assistant you will also be involved in assessing and assisting onsite staff with work based learning qualifications, such as the Advanced Apprenticeship, so you should be willing to undertake an A1 assessor qualification whilst working for us.

         

Duties

To gather and disseminate local information to the staff in area throughout the season, to ensure the staff are able to provide information to our customers as required.

To gather the information required for updating our brochures and local guides, to include the completion of marketing reports in liaison with the Overseas Manager.

To complete health and safety records on individual campsites.

To assist staff with work based learning qualifications. To carry out the role of an assessor.

To assist with the collation and provision of information to the Campsites Department .

To develop a thorough knowledge of resort and local information. To be aware of company policies and relevant emergency procedures.

To pick-up and drop off staff within the area, to provide support for staff (shopping trips, local information trips etc).

To communicate effectively with colleagues, campsite management, suppliers, senior staff and office staff.

To carry out administrative tasks as required by the Overseas Manager.

To carry out any other duties as requested by the Overseas Manager, this may involve Courier duties.

To remain flexible at all times with regards to duties and working hours.



You will provide administrative assistance to the Regional Manager to enable them to provide the highest standard of product delivery within the area.

Duties will include general administration such as data entry, filing, booking travel for overseas staff and liaising with other departments overseas and at head office.

You will be required to monitor customer questionnaire scores and provide reports to the Regional Manager as well as carrying out courier duties when required. You may also have occasional driving duties.

         

Key Requirements

• flexible and well organised

• a good telephone manner

• computer skills

• a full clean driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months

• ideally a basic knowledge of a major European language.

• you must be available to work from late March to early October.

• you will be based on site sharing accommodation with other members of the team.
