Guide to Applying
Before you submit your application form please read the guidance notes below:

Please state two preferences where possible as your first choice may be fully recruited.

Personal Information
Please give us your full address including postcode and keep us informed if this should change.
If you have provided a home address and a term address please indicate which address you would like us to use for your correspondence.
Languages
We will only test your language ability at interview if you rate yourself as competent. If you rate yourself as competent you should feel confident about the following situations:
• Translating for a customer at a hospital or doctor's surgery
• Helping a customer deal with a local garage following a car breakdown
• Discussing a complaint with a campsite owner.
If you rate yourself as basic this means: you have a little vocabulary or understanding but you could deal with the following:
• Translating a menu for a customer
• Making basic small talk
• Asking/Giving directions and understanding the reply!
If you can't speak a foreign language we have plenty of vacancies for non language speakers.
Skills
Please complete the sections in as much detail as possible, drawing from the experience you have gained through employment, voluntary work or school/college/university.
If you are applying with a partner
We can only accept one application form per person. If you wish to work as a couple, both candidates must submit an individual application form. We will not proceed with your application until we have received both forms.
If you are re-applying
If you have applied to us before, but not actually worked, please note that you will be required to re-apply if your previous application was submitted 6 months before or earlier.
After you have submitted your form
Once you have submitted your application form we will reply to you, by post, within 3 - 5 working days. We aim to respond to all applications as soon as possible. Online applications can only be viewed by us one working day after submission at the very earliest, therefore we are unable to view applications on the day of submission.
If your application is successful we will ask you to take part in an interview. We will put you forward for the position that is most suited to your skills, abilities and experience, as well as the dates you are available to work. For more information about the interview process please click here.
When applying please bear in mind the relevant dates required by the position you have applied for. If your dates do not correspond to those required by the position we may put you forward for a different position.
